On the Today Show this week, Al Roker was shocked and awed by an epic ugly Christmas sweater worn by a fan of the show. A woman showed up in a large, 3D sweater with a giant reindeer head popping out of her chest.
When she turned around, she revealed a plush reindeer rump sewn to the back.
Roker was rendered almost speechless. He asked the woman where she got the holiday gem, and she said she made it.
As we wrote in our book, when it comes to ugly Christmas sweaters, it’s an arms race of ugly, to see who can get the most outrageous. And this woman upped the ante.
